pretty happy with bigmotion!

i was on the hunt for a good image to video converter and came across bigmotion. i wasn't sure if they had a free version to try out, but i ended up just going for it with one of their plans since the annual discount was a pretty good deal. the marketing video templates are super easy to use, even for someone like me who's not a pro. everything works really well, i just wish the rendering was a tiny bit faster sometimes, but it's not a huge deal.

Good for quick videos

Used the Faceless Video Creator. Simple to use. Generated the video quickly. Quality was good enough for social media. Got what I needed done.

Decent platform, some improvements needed

I signed up for BigMotion to try out the Kling 3.0 Video Generation and the Auto-Post Scheduler. The video generation itself was quite powerful; the quality was impressive for AI-generated content and fairly customizable. The Auto-Post Scheduler was a convenient feature, saving me some manual work. However, I noticed that the rendering times for longer videos, even short ones sometimes, could be a bit inconsistent. One video took 15 minutes to generate, while another similar one took almost 30. Also, while the UI is clean, I wish there were more explicit tooltips for some of the advanced settings in the editor. Good value overall, but those small delays added up a bit.

Always a smooth experience

I've used BigMotion a few times now, mainly for the AI Ad Generator. This last time I needed a quick ad for a new product launch. The output was consistent with my previous orders, good quality, and got it done fast. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect.

Made a music video, it was fun

So, I was messing around and decided to try the AI Music Video Maker for a track I made. Honestly, it was pretty cool how it pulled everything together. I just put in the song and some ideas, and it spat out something decent. Not gonna win any awards, but for just playing around, it totally hit the mark. It felt pretty easy to navigate everything too, which was nice since I'm not super techy with this kind of stuff. Took me a bit to get the hang of some settings, but overall, a good time.

I'm looking to generate a lot of short ad clips, like hundreds. Does BigMotion have a limit on how many videos you can generate per month, or is it tied to credits?

B Ben 2 months ago
It's tied to credits, not a strict 'number of videos' limit. Longer or higher-quality videos use more credits. Check your plan details for how many credits you get.

N Noor Silva 2 months ago
Yeah, it's credit-based. If you're doing hundreds, you'll probably need one of the higher-tier plans or to buy extra credit packs. Unused credits usually roll over, though, I think.

Been using InVideo but the AI stuff feels kinda limited. Is BigMotion actually better than InVideo for creative stuff, especially for music videos?

G Gwen Kaur 3 months ago
Oh yeah, BigMotion is way beyond InVideo for AI generation. I switched from Pictory and it's a night and day difference. Especially with Kling/Veo, you can get some really unique visuals.

For music videos, BigMotion is much more powerful. InVideo is more template-driven, BigMotion gives you more actual AI generation power to experiment. You'll get better results, just might take a little learning.

Thinking of getting BigMotion for my small biz. Heard about Kling and Veo models, but what's the actual difference? Like, when would I use one over the other?

I Ivy Doyle 2 months ago
Yeah, I had the same question. From what I've seen, Kling is more for like, super realistic stuff, almost cinematic. Veo is good too but maybe a bit more stylized? Depends on what you're making.

Afaik, Veo is often better for fast-paced, dynamic content, good for ads. Kling is supposed to be better for more nuanced, detailed scenes. I usually try both for a short clip and see which vibe fits.

Hey, anyone know if BigMotion offers any deals for students? I'm trying to make some short films but my budget is kinda tight.

N Nina 3 months ago
I think they do actually! Check their site, usually under a 'discounts' or 'education' section. Might need to verify your student status.

Yeah, they have a student discount. I used it last semester. Saves a decent chunk, definitely worth looking into.

Just started using BigMotion, seems cool. I saw there's an annual plan discount, how much do you actually save compared to paying monthly?

R Rosa 2 months ago
It's usually around 20-30% if you go annual. Makes a big difference over the year.

I switched to annual after a couple months, and it was a noticeable saving. Plus, they sometimes have extra codes on top of that during Black Friday or something, which makes it even better if you time it right.
